What Is the Earth Zoom Out Effect?
The earth zoom out effect is a five-second camera move generated from one photo: the camera starts on the subject, rises straight up and keeps pulling back past rooftops and clouds until the entire planet is visible against the stars.
One accelerating move
The pull-back starts slowly on the subject and speeds up as the scale grows, which is what makes the jump from street level to orbit feel like one shot.
Any subject, any place
The sample starts on a pair of sneakers on a rooftop. People, products, pets and landmarks all work, because the camera leaves them behind within a second or two.
A scroll-stopping opener
The effect is popular as the first shot of a travel reel, a product launch or a 'where I am right now' story.
The effect shares its idea with AI Zoom Out, but goes much further. AI Zoom Out reveals the surroundings of a scene; Earth Zoom Out keeps going until the scene is a dot on a planet. Outdoor photos with open sky above give the smoothest start.

Earth Zoom Out FAQ
Short answers to common questions.
40 credits per five-second clip on a paid plan. Failed renders refund automatically.
No. The model imagines the city, coastline and globe from the look of your photo. It does not use maps or GPS, so the view from space is illustrative.
The effect is fixed at five seconds. For a longer or reversed move, write your own prompt in the image to video generator.
It can, but the camera has to break through a ceiling first, which looks less natural. Outdoor photos give a cleaner rise.
