A four-second 480p clip in one of the ratios new to Seedance 2.5: the rider comes toward the camera through low sun and dunes. Sound was switched on, at no extra cost.
Prompt
A lone rider on horseback crosses a desert at golden hour, wide cinematic shot, dust trailing behind
From a one-line prompt: the bird flies into frame, hovers and dips its beak into the flower, wings blurred and feathers sharp.
Prompt
A hummingbird hovers at a red flower, macro, slow motion
The start frame is the Nano Banana Pro reading nook; the end frame is GPT Image 2.5's night version of it. Seedance 2.5 filled in the change: the daylight fades, snow starts to fall and the lamp takes over.
Prompt
Day turns into night in the reading nook: the light outside fades, rain turns to snow, the lamp glows brighter
A four-second 480p draft from a one-line prompt: the boat rocks on the current, ripples spread across the gutter, and the shallow focus keeps the eye on the paper folds.
Prompt
A paper boat drifting down a rain gutter, close up, slow motion
Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's newest video model and the successor to Seedance 2.0, built for longer clips and closer control over references. Here it turns a prompt, a still image, or a start and an end frame into a clip of 4 to 15 seconds.
It is charged per second: 45 credits at 480p, 100 at 720p and 250 at 1080p, and sound doesn't change the price. Work out the shot at 480p, then render the final at 720p or 1080p.
16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4 and 21:9, twice as many as Seedance 2.0, for widescreen, vertical, square and cinematic shots.
Choose 4, 6, 8, 10 or 15 seconds, long enough for a full camera move or a short scene.
Switch sound on for ambience and effects, or leave it off for clips you will score yourself.
Give it the first and the last frame and it animates the way between them, useful for transitions and product reveals.
